Aventur ("we", "our", "us") operates the Aventur marketplace platform, including the website and all associated services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. It also sets out the legal terms governing the use of purchased digital guidebooks.
By using Aventur, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

3Guidebook Purchases & Usage Rights
When you purchase a digital guidebook on Aventur, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use that content for your own private travel planning. The following restrictions apply in full:
You may not sell, sublicence, or otherwise transfer a purchased guidebook — in whole or in part — to any other person or entity, whether for monetary compensation or otherwise.
You may not share, forward, upload, post, or distribute the guidebook file (PDF or any other format) with other individuals, groups, WhatsApp communities, social media accounts, file-hosting services, or any other channel — paid or free.
You may not reproduce, excerpt, screenshot, or republish the guidebook content on any website, blog, newsletter, or social media page without prior written permission from Aventur.
You may download the PDF to your own devices, print a single copy for your personal trip, and use the interactive checklist for your own travel preparation.
Violation of these terms constitutes copyright infringement and breach of contract. Aventur reserves the right to terminate your account, revoke access to purchased content, and pursue legal remedies available under Indonesian and international copyright law.
4Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential cookies — required for authentication, session management, and security. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — anonymous usage statistics to understand how visitors interact with the platform (e.g. page views, feature usage). You may opt out.
- Preference cookies — remember settings such as language or saved guidebooks across sessions.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use core platform features.
5Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processors — to fulfil transactions. Subject to their own privacy policies.
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, CDN, and email delivery services operating under data processing agreements.
- Trip organisers — your name and contact details are shared with the organiser of a trip you have joined, solely for trip coordination purposes.
- Legal obligations — where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
6Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Purchase records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for tax and accounting compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Section 7); however, anonymised transaction records required for legal compliance will be retained regardless.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain processing activities, including direct marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 8.
